The UK Tea & Infusions Association (UKTIA) is an independent non-profit making body dedicated to promoting tea and herbal infusions and their unique story for the benefit of those who produce, sell and enjoy tea and herbal infusion products.
We represent the world's major tea producing and exporting countries, UK tea packers and brokers and UK companies providing services to the tea industry.
On behalf of its members, the UK Tea & Infusions Association works closely with the Food and Drink Federation, UK Food Standards Agency, Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs, the European Food Standards Agency and a range of international bodies, to ensure that the quality of tea imported into the European Union meets the highest possible standards as regulated by law.
The Executive Board of UK Tea & Infusions Association Ltd (UKTIA) welcomes applications for membership from companies, businesses and producers who are actively trading tea or who are associated with the world-wide tea trade. Membership brings a variety of benefits as well as the opportunity to engage with and influence the work of the UK and international tea trade. Members have access to a critical range of information and intelligence relating to food and packaging legislation, tea and health science, consumer data, supply chain matters, production and consumption statistics, scientific and technical expertise and ethical sourcing.
